Be prepared for anything the elements can throw at you. In extreme weather, comfort is measured by how dry and warm you stay. The hunting industry measures it by Moisture Vapor Transfer (MVT) ratings for waterproofness and breathability. The higher the MVT rating, the drier, and more comfortable you will be. Until now, the highest breathability ratings on the market were between 20,000 and 50,000. The breathability rating of the ultra-thin Porelle Extreme membrane in the Pnuma Selkirk checks in at an unstoppable 120,000. Selkirk's super micro-brushed Tricot outer fabric is deadly quiet, protected with 3M DWR for water repellency, and features world-class YKK waterproof zippers. The Pnumagrid fleece lining focused on your core warmth allows you to comfortably layer up or down as conditions demand. To complete the package, added protection from PnumaGuard™ non-slip, wear-resistant overlays on knees will protect your investment for years to come. And that's guaranteed for life.

This suit kept me warm and dry throughout a blizzard while elk hunting in Colorado! The heated vest came in handy for sitting that last hour every day too! I ended up ripping the pants crossing a fallen tree they replaced the pants for free and even sent me a dry bag with the new pants. Pnuma is a great company! I highly recommend these guys!
I picked up this set for the worst of the worst. Rain, snow, wind, and anything else Mother Nature wants to throw at me. So far it has not let me down. Super comfortable and quit. Pnuma knocked it out of the park.
The process of the warranty exchange went well. Unfortunately they didn’t carry the bibs a had bit they were very willing to make it right. I exchanged for the pants style and ended up exchanging again for a different size as the fit changed from the bibs to the pants. They pnuma team was good to work with and very helpful along the way.
First time buyer of hunting equipment and found Pnuma. I've had such a great experience with them thus far. Customer service is amazing and no hassles with returns or exchanges. As for the Selkirk Pants, I live in Ontario and it was about -10C (14F) the other day with a wind chill on top of that. I went outside to play in the 30cm (12inches) of snow with the kids. I wore the Selkirk pants and jacket. I was outside for about 30 minutes sitting in the snow and didn't feel an ounce of cold coming through the pants or body of the jacket.
True story about the camouflage, the wife came out to call the kids and I in, even though she was looking right at me (as one kid was behind me) she didn't even realize I was kneeling there until she asked where dad was and I had to wave at here for her to see me. I think that speaks volumes.
Sizing is reasonable, I'm 6'3 and 225 and the 38x34 fits great, there is room for layering underneath.
I also have purchased the Selkirk Jacket which is equally awesome in the cold, the insulator pants, vest and gunnison hoody. All have amazing quality.
So happy to have found Pnuma. Now if you only made an insulated balaclava I'd be set for my northern Quebec moose hunt.
This is my second Selkirk purchase. Picked these up in Caza, because of how original pair has performed. For me, they are fantastic for Bowhunting; quiet, pliable, tough in thick brush, completely waterproof and cut the wind too. Bought these with jacket and love both.
I’ve only wore them a couple times on late season doe hunt in Kansas. I stayed warm and dry seating on the ground. Great pants and the Terra pattern blinds great in the prairie grass.
