The revolutionary design of the IconX Heated Core pant puts the heat where your body needs it the most: next to your skin. We combined next to skin warmth with the unparalleled wicking and muscle support of IconX performance to create the most innovative base layer available. Three different heat settings provide incredible, sustained warmth with no bulk and complete freedom of movement.
IconX Heated Core pant is the ultimate combination of next to skin heat and performance. It’s no secret that you can stay in the field longer when you keep your core warm. The biggest enemy you face during late-season hunts is cold. Cold impacts your performance mentally and physically. It can affect your body’s ability to stalk across a ridge or to pull to full-draw smoothly. The key to winning the battle against cold is maintaining your core temperature. Our heated core pant utilizes undetectable carbon-fiber heating elements that crisscross your lower back and tops of thighs to distribute constant, efficient, and compelling warmth. With three levels of heat available at the push of a button, you’re in complete control of your comfort. Our IconX fabric adds unparalleled wicking and muscle support to complete the package. Wear the Heated Core pant under your IconX top or Merino Wool baselayers on the coldest of days. You’ll remain warm with no bulk and experience total freedom of movement, and stay in the hunt as long as it takes to get the big game you’re after.

It’s pretty amazing the difference it makes. As a bowhunter who shoots compound and recurve, bulky gear is a deal breaker (especially with my traditional archery gear).
I was just in a tree stand this past weekend on a windy low 40’s morning before dawn and I was perfectly comfortable with the vest and a long sleeve shirt. It’s weird because I could tell my arms were “cool,” but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all with my trunk being kept warm.
I’ve worn it next to skin and then with a thin merino wool layer under it and it really needs to be next to skin. It makes a huge difference in the heat transmission.
My only complaint is that the battery placement isn’t optimal and it takes forever to fully charge, so buy a spare or two if you’re doing a morning and evening hunt.
As an avid bow hunter warmth is a necessity. Pnuma heated core products are the best.
I am extremely satisfied with the customer service of this company. Being an amputee was a concern for me to get a proper fit. Pnuma is alternating the left leg to accommodate my prosthetic. Thank you Amber for going above and beyond for all your help with this and thank you Pnuma. I am now set for this winter with the heated core vest and pants.
PNUMA is a company you can count on for quality products and a 1st class knowledgeable staff. I have used their products since they first started. As an addicted bow hunter in all weather conditions PNUMA is THE BEST! I trust the product and the company. The heated vest is superb and now I've ordered their pants. With PNUMA you need not bulk up on clothing and that means the bow hunter can move with agility. THANK YOU PNUMA!
Great products I bought vest last year and am extremely impressed with everything about it so I’m sure the pants are going to be the same great quality. Looking forward to cold weather to use them both together. Thanks for a great product.
great product. I've used mine for the past 2 years and have had no problems. Works as advertised and keeps me comfortable in the tree stand or duck blind. Can't wait till the pants are on the market!!
Of the reviews currently visible for this, it doesn't appear anyone has actually used the IconX Heated Pant in the field. So let me give you an honest review from someone who has used it 4 times now so far. I'm a pretty hardcore bowhunter, and living/hunting in Northern WI we get plenty of cold days. It's 10/16/2020 and 29F here right now, for example.
First off, if you've never used Pnuma gear, or are new to heated clothing, let me explain the TYPE of heat you'll feel. It's not especially powerful or "deep". Especially if you're hanging 25' up in a tree in the wind, no enclosure. Even on high the heat is relatively gentle, it's typically just strong enough for me to stay in my stand when the wind is howling and the deer aren't moving. JUST strong enough. Kind of like holding a chemical hand warmer to your skin. You'll feel it, but it won't radiate like the heat from a stonger source. The heat on the pant is pretty localized too, even more so than on the vest. It doesn't go down the legs really at all, which is a bummer if, like me, that's what you were hoping for. It's mostly mid-thigh, groin, and butt area. Personally, I wear the pant and vest on top of a very thin layer of Merino wool (Sitka), but beneath my high-pile insulation which helps trap the heat. Wearing it against my skin was not comfortable for me, especially since most of my hunts start with a hike 1.5+ miles, followed by 2.5 - 8.5 hours of sitting perfectly still, then ending with another 1.5+ mile hike in the dark.
On to the problem(s) with this garment. As long as you don't mind that "painted on" tightness, there is one big con that I've found so far. The battery position. It's on the front outside of your left hip. Wanna know where the battery on the IconX Heated Vest sits? You got it, on the "top" front outside of your left hip. Which means you have two blocky batteries sitting in roughly the same spot, which can make hunting out of treestand, ground blind chair, or saddle (like me) pretty interesting when your upper body and lower body are perpendicular. This, so far, is my biggest complaint. Every time I've worn the pant/vest combo, it's been an issue. Pnuma should sell an extension to extend the 3.5mm power cable so you can relocate the battery elsewhere. Personally, I'm probably going to buy one to do it myself, though I'll consult Pnuma first to be sure this doesn't void my warranty (always do this before DIY modding garments/equipment).
Anyway, the products seem to be very well made and well thought out. I've worn the vest about 25 times since I bought it last year. The pant only times. I will add that the batteries are pretty chunky - you'll definitely feel them when wearing the garment. I'm guessing as the tech progresses we may eventually get other battery options, but for now what comes with the IconX heated garments is decent, though you won't get the rated battery times, in my experience. Running the Vest or Pant on high off a brand new battery I've never gotten more than about 100 minutes of heat. And I own 4 batteries.
Anyway, it's a solid product. The waist band is a little tight for me. I bought a Medium and am 5' 10", 150lbs with a 29" waist with what I suppose would be called an athletic build. And it's a little difficult getting into/out-of the pant, but not a big complaint. Other than the batteries on the vest and pant literally being in almost the same position, which can get uncomfortable, I have no major complaints so far. Good luck this season all!
