Im a Pnuma gear tester and brand ambassador. pnuma sent me this merino too to try out. I wore this top over my performance tshirt this last weekend when I hiked Kings Peak, the tallest mountain in Utah. Conditions ranged from 40 degrees with hail, rain and wind gusts up to 60 mph, to partly cloudy and 60 degrees. This merino top helped me regulate my body temperature while backpacking with a 45 lbs pack for 25 miles over two days.

The garment is well-designed and constructed. It kept me from getting stinky and was comfortable and well fitting. (I’m 5’11” and 200 lbs and the size large fit great.). I can’t wait to use this on my coues deer hunt this November in New Mexico. Highly recommend. Merino wool is a game changer for hunting.

I'm 5'7, 155 lbs and the medium fits fine in my active 65 year young frame. Great base layer for November PA archery hunts.

Nicest 1/4 zip I've purchased. This 1/4 zip is similarly priced to other nice merino brands but is much higher quality: 1) wool fabric is softer and more substantial, 2) chest pocket is a nice addition, 3) zipper is backed with a storm flap, 4) thumb holes, 5) slightly longer.

6'0', 180 lbs and Medium fits perfectly over a t-shirt. Would probably need a Large over anything bulkier.
