Our rain suit starts with a High performance waterproof breathable membrane. The fabric has a 100% polyester interlock that keeps water at bay, and we add a 3M C4 DWR coating to enhance the waterproofing even further. The result is a waterproof rating of 20,000mm and MVP breathability rating of 15,000 g/m2/24h. That means you will stay dry and will not overheat in this gear. Pnumaguard anti-abrasion overlays protect your shoulders and elbows from wear and tear. The quiet material has 4-way stretch properties for a comfortable fit and pit zip vents for warmer days. Pack and go!

Light weight packable rain gear at a great price! Worked awesome on those long sits bowhunting during the rut. Kept me dry and comfortable. Would recommend.

Full Season Update

This jacket is the best I found for archery hunting. It is quiet enough, stretches and breathes well. The jacket seems to be of quality build and haven't had any issues. I wouldn't go busting through brush in it in Alaska as it is fairly thin but it seems durable enough. It's a great balance of weight to features/durability.

The fit is slightly loose which is good for layering. I'm usually an XL in Kuiu and this Large fits like an XL. Only complaint I have on it is the I'd like to see the arm slightly tighter to avoid contact with strings or to add a cinch.

Great for Rain and as a Windbreaker

Winters in the Northeast are more soggy than cold. This jacket works great as a shell. It also has stood up to rain. With some layering this jacket is comfortable down into the low 30s. I bought an XL, I am 6' 1" and 210 pounds. Fits well with room to layer.

As an owner of Pnuma gear, I had resisted purchasing this rain suit as I have a Selkirk light (no longer available) and the regular insulated Selkirk suit. I wanted to get the Caza camo for early season particularly spring turkey. I haven't used it hunting yet but did bring it on a fishing trip where we got caught in a total downpour and I have to say - I stayed completely dry. The hood also is perfect as it provides better peripheral vision than most. It is quite - although I have never found a set of rain gear that is totally quiet, but the rain and dripping trees are certainly louder than the material. The pants have pockets, unlike many rain pants. Overall, this suit exceeded my expectations, but maybe I should have known better with products from Pnuma as they have always delivered for me. I really like that they are competitively priced for the other high end hunting apparel and do a better job. Another Pnuma win.

70 miles of abuse

I recently set out to tackle 50 miles of backpacking in the Colorado Rockies and Pnuma 3L element was my choice. I’m so glad I chose pnuma as over the course of 7 days and nearly 70 miles I face mountain down pours and snow everyday. Literally the first 24 hours was non stop rain and snow. Dry, completely dry not a drop even in the strap and pressure spots got through. I know my buddy wishes he had chosen Pnuma!
