We created this pack to exceed all expectations for comfort, utility, and durability in a day pack, and then we stress-tested it in the mountain range it's named for. Our 2200 cubic inch pack is built with Tactical Nylon with waterproof coating and YKK® AquaGuard® Water Repellant Zippers to keep your gear safe and dry, while plentiful pockets keep it organized and close at hand. A stretch mesh panel over an aluminum frame provides ventilation and support when you are loaded down. A full-length zippered pocket is perfect for protecting your spotting scope. For quick scouting trips, the interior 9" x 5" removable molle pouch can be attached to the removable waist belt for use as a stand-alone Lumbar Pack.
The pack is secured by a wide, heavily padded waist belt with convenient forward pull waist adjustment and large zippered pockets. Heavily padded shoulder straps with adjustable sternum strap and load lifter straps help keep the load distributed. Pack straps feature non-slip silicone print inside waist belt and shoulder straps. A Stretch mesh panel over an aluminum frame provides ventilation and support. Storage is managed by a zippered full-length spotting scope pocket, (3) zippered organization pockets inside front flap for quick drop-down access and side stretch pockets for water bottles or other accessories. The interior 9" x 5" removable molle pouch can be attached to the removable waist belt for use as a stand-alone Lumbar Pack. We included an integrated buckle straphanger to hang the pack from tree limbs or your truck's headrest. Side and bottom compression/mounting straps keep gear from moving around while you are traversing difficult terrain. To manage thirst, the Chisos is hydration reservoir compatible. During our testing forays into the Chisos Range, every feature performed flawlessly, and we are proud to place that name on our pack and guarantee it for life.

I picked this up during the pack sale because I was shopping around for a replacement pack. Current one wasn't meeting my needs. I've recently converted to a lot of Pnuma gear because I have been super happy with the first coupe items I bought a year ago and now almost my enite loadout is Pnuma. So I thought I'd give the pack a try too. Needless to say, it delivered and then some for me. I'm an Upstate NY hunter, so some days I'm sitting and some days I'm moving. This pack is small enough to be nimble and mobile when needed and is also large enough to be prepared for an all day hunt or an emergency overnighter. I can easily stow away all my small pieces of gear in the multiple pockets and the included detachable molle pouch (now my field dress bag). I don't have a use for a spotting scope so that slot is for my snacks & grunt tube. Inside easily holds my 1.5 liter bladder, trauma molle pouch, Pnuma Insulator Jacket/Vest, Extra Wool socks, and gloves with room to spare. The small pouches on the belt are perfect for my headlamp, compass, flashlight, TP. The elastic on the front, while probably useless for most, is perfect for me. It holds my small tripod chair perfectly so it's out of my way as I walk so both hands are free in case I need to draw or shoot while walking. Again, another great Pnuma product I'm happy is in my arsenal.
Overall, well built pack. Premium quality zippers. outer shell. Unique detachable internal pack for numerous items. It's a small pack, but for a midwest whitetail hunter's one day sit, it works. For the future, would love to see a variety of external pockets. The bungee front is impractical for the avid treestand hunter, and external pockets to fill its place would be extremely clutch. See the intent for this specific pack as more of a western pack, but hope in the future it's upgraded and geared toward the midwestern treestand hunter, the 90%'ers. Cheers!
This backpack is awesome right amount of pockets and places to put gear quiet zippers and comfortable well thought out design!
used it for a 5 day hunt, no regrets at all
Couldn't be more happy with this package! After purchasing this pack I immediately impressed with the form fit and function of it. I can also put this pack on and put my hang on stand over the top and be comfortable and quietly sneak through the woods. The only con I have is it does seem small for a 2000 cubic inch pack. But otherwise I am one happy with it!
Instead of a day pack let's call it a 1/4 day pack. For the gear a SERIOUS bow hunter needs it does not even come close to being adequate, and if you want food & water you WILL need to bring a separate container. The pack is indeed well built just TERRIBLY SMALL and NON-FUNCTIONAL.!
