This puffy is very warm, weather resistant and durable. It’s one of my go-to pieces of gear for hunts October through December.

Great jacket to have in your pack for when the temp drops unexpectedly or for when you are glassing. Still quiet enough to wear bowhunting.

Staple Point jacket in my arsenal. Great for throwing in your pack on long treks into your spot, quiet enough to wear it in the tree stand, and durable enough to go through long hikes through brush. Overall, its a must have for me!

I've put this jacket through the ringer over the past season, from big game hunts out west to whitetail hunts in Illinois, New York and Alberta. I've never had a puffy handle so many different uses effectively. It's quiet enough to wear in a treestand to which I was very surprised. The packability of the jacket makes it perfect for any big game hunt. I carried it with me on my Moose Hunt in Newfoundland this past year, and pulled it out almost every time we stopped to glass. The warmth to weight ration is amazing, and when I got caught with it and no rain gear, it kept me warm, even when it was wet. This is a HUGE upgrade to the previous Palisade jacket. I hope it comes in a solid color soon so that I can wear it all winter long!

Versatile.

This puffy is really nice for Glassing Scenarios and Western hunts in my opinion - great for the early mornings and late evenings when it's chilly or the mid day sits with low temps.

Can even be used as a pillow while in the stuff sack for back country hunts.

If you're hunting on the ground or from a blind... this if the puffy for you.

It will keep you warm even through some elements thanks to the synthetic material.

This is a must have in your collection for Hunting Jackets! Especially for hunting in treestands in the Midwest. It is a great packable jacket that fits easily into your hunting pack. I would not recommend wearing this jacket as a run a gun jacket. If you are sitting still glassing it is perfect. If you pair this jack with a heavy base layer you can't go wrong. I even wore it under the 3L Element Rain suit and didn't feel constricted at all. I am 185lbs, 5'-9" with an athletic build and the Large was a perfect size. The only thing that would make this jacket perfect is if it would have had a harness port on the back.
