I have been looking for a light weight waterproof glove that I can wear while waterfowl hunting and still feel the trigger. I have only been able to hunt a couple times with the gloves and I liked them very much. They kept my hands dry and camouflaged. I have used them in the rain during dog training and, again, my hands stayed dry. Of course I do not know how long they will last, but right now, I am very happy with them and would recommend this product to anyone.
I have two pairs of these gloves. I recently bought a second pair because the first pair became tainted with boar urine and smells awful. It clearly states in the glove tag : do not wash, dry clean, or use cleansers of any kind. Any idea how I can get rid of the horrible smell?
Great fitting, light-weight gloves my husband used for hunting season. He loved them!
Warmer than they would appear. Lifetime warranty included!
These gloves are a lot warmer than you might think with how thin they are. Plus I love the waterproofing.
These gloves for their weight are really warm. Only flaw for me… they are a little stiffer than I prefer.
I bought four more pairs after my field trial. My coat has a seal for the cuffs and these pulled up under it, and made me windproof and water proof while sitting in the organic meat aisle of a beautiful Missouri River valley.
The only issue with them is the touch screen fingertips, your trigger finger and thumb tips will get wet, if the gloves are saturated and you put pressure on them. It comes in from the top seam, if that seam is stretched with some pressure, like a 140 lbs man zigging and zagging up a steep hill. The rest of your fingers are fine. I’m in a wheelchair and when I was pushing up a hill to start dragging my buck down the hill, I noticed it.
Otherwise these are amazing all weather gloves for stationary hunting. My field trial was an east river deer hunt out in a blizzard with a not so warm minus 25windchill they outperformed another companies insulated thick gloves. The next day, I was on a hill under a cedar, and it was minus 40windchill and the gloves with feet warmers were all I needed. The feet warmers have a sticky pad and it keeps them in place. They are all I used for the entire 12 hour sit, plus a little adrenaline from a couple coyotes. 6.5cm is not the right coyote gun if you want the pelts, good if you don’t want the coyotes near the livestock and wild game.
