The Pnuma Selkirk Jacket has everything you would wish for in a weatherproof hunting jacket. Its waterproof membrane is incredibly breathable and warm without being bulky. Plus, it's soft, flexible, and whisper-quiet even when cold. That means you stay warmer, dryer, and more silent even in the harshest conditions, and that's guaranteed for life.
Be prepared for anything the elements can throw at you. In extreme weather, comfort is measured by how dry and warm you stay. The hunting industry measures it by Moisture Vapor Transfer (MVT) ratings for waterproofness and breathability. The higher the MVT rating, the drier, and more comfortable you will be. Until now, the highest breathability ratings on the market were between 20,000 and 50,000. The breathability rating of the ultra-thin Porelle Extreme membrane in the Pnuma Selkirk Jacket checks in at an unstoppable 120,000. Selkirk's super micro-brushed Tricot outer fabric is deadly quiet, protected with 3M DWR for water repellency, and features world-class YKK waterproof zippers. The Pnumagrid fleece lining focused on your core warmth allows you to comfortably layer up or down as conditions demand. To complete the package, added protection from PnumaGuard™ non-slip, wear-resistant overlays on jacket shoulders and elbows will protect your investment for years to come. And that's guaranteed for life.

I’d wear this jacket everyday if I could. This Jacket is warm, very comfortable, heavy duty material, great fit. I can’t say enough good things about it. Im definitely a customer for life
I did a ton of research, spent hours exploring & trying out a variety of soft shells from many of the best hunting apparel companies on the market & then some. The Selkirk just hit the nail on the head for me. It’s weatherproof (water & wind), unbelievably breathable & backed by a lifetime warranty. You’ll be spending double the cost of this jacket at other retailer to find multiple garments/layers that do what this jacket does. Had some issues with the zipper on a backcountry hunt & when I reached out to call in that warranty, they were super prompt, helpful, & sent me a brand new jacket within days of me sending the other back. What more could you ask for? It’s also comfortable, warm & looks damn good. I legit believe that Pnuma’s camo designs are the best on the market by orders of magnitude. Don’t take my word for it though, do your own research. I’m convinced you’ll come to the same conclusions.
I picked up this set for the worst of the worst. Rain, snow, wind, and anything else Mother Nature wants to throw at me. So far it has not let me down. Super comfortable and quit. Pnuma knocked it out of the park.
I bought this jacket during a sale and spent more than an hour on the phone with Jennifer from customer service. Based upon her recommendations, I purchased the Selkirk along with the ICONX base and the heated vest. I have only had the opportunity to use the jacket while shed hunting and even in colder temps (mid-30s), I was actually too warm with the jacket and base layer while moving. With the zippered ports, however, I was able to regulate my temperature without the need to remove the jacket. I think this jacket will serve me very well while on the move with little more than a base layer, and it will also keep me warm while on stand when used in conjunction with the heated vest and Pnuma's ICONX base. I really like the length of the jacket (it goes below my waist), and its construction and looks are great. Originally, I purchased a medium, but in trying it, I was really concerned that it would not have enough room underneath for layering. Jennifer worked with me, and I was able to get a large at the same time so I could compare the sizes. Ultimately, I chose the large as it is more versatile for layering and the sleeve length is still good.
The jacket is not exceptionally thick, and I know I'll need more than just it alone to keep me warm in colder temps, but it should be flexible enough to take me from mid October through the December and perhaps January with proper layering. Probably the only addition to this jacket that I might need for the coldest temps I'll hunt would be the insulator jacket to wear beneath the Selkirk. That should be a terrific combination. I also plan to purchase the Selkirk pants at some time now that I'm familiar with the quality of the jacket.
Customer service was great to work with, warranty is top notch and the material used for the Selkirk jacket is superb!
The Selkirk Jacket is without a doubt the best jacket I have ever owned. I’ve worn it in 15 degree weather with a fleece sweater under it and been warm and I’ve worn it in 50 degree weather by itself and been comfortable. It blocks the wind, is waterproof but breathable. This jacket does it all and has replaced all my other jackets.
