The Pnuma Selkirk Pant has everything you would wish for in weatherproof hunting gear. Its waterproof membrane is incredibly breathable and warm without being bulky. Plus, it's soft, flexible, and whisper-quiet even when cold. That means you stay warmer, dryer, and more silent even in the harshest conditions, and that's guaranteed for life.
Be prepared for anything the elements can throw at you. In extreme weather, comfort is measured by how dry and warm you stay. The hunting industry measures it by Moisture Vapor Transfer (MVT) ratings for waterproofness and breathability. The higher the MVT rating, the drier, and more comfortable you will be. Until now, the highest breathability ratings on the market were between 20,000 and 50,000. The breathability rating of the ultra-thin Porelle Extreme membrane in the Pnuma Selkirk checks in at an unstoppable 120,000. Selkirk's super micro-brushed Tricot outer fabric is deadly quiet, protected with 3M DWR for water repellency, and features world-class YKK waterproof zippers. The Pnumagrid fleece lining focused on your core warmth allows you to comfortably layer up or down as conditions demand. To complete the package, added protection from PnumaGuard™ non-slip, wear-resistant overlays on knees will protect your investment for years to come. And that's guaranteed for life.

I love my Selkirk pants and jacket. Totally waterproof as advertised. I would highly recommend. I just wish they would incorporate the porelle extreme membrane in a true extreme
cold weather suit.
I have quite a few of the Pnuma brand clothing and hunt in all temperature ranges. I broke down and purchased an outer layer that was highly rated for weather, i.e. rain. Fit is slightly tighter than my other garmets I have purchased. But my biggest disappointment , as a stand hunter, is the noise these pants make, especially from the zippered areas. I would like to see the zipper moved to the front and run vertically.
Just bought my second pair. Have tested on hunts in Alaska, Montana and my home state of Delaware in many different weather conditions. These pants are fantastic. Kept me dry in downpour with 50+ mph winds in Alaska.
Wore the Selkirk during PA rifle season. I encountered snow and light rain at times. Was out Daylight to Dark and came back dry Everytime. I did get a small tear in the pants on the lower part of the leg above the ankle while walking in thick laurel and will be trying the lifetime Guarantee out, but all in all it's a fine product.
The quality of Pmuna Gear is everything you hope for. The fit and function is awesome!
