Whether you are headed out for an upland hunt or trudging through desert scrub-brush, The Brushguard pant is made to push aside the thick stuff and keep your legs protected. The double-front and nylon cuffs make these our most durable pants ever, but that doesn't mean they are stiff. The cut of these pants is made to be so comfortable you will forget they are reinforced. Four standard pockets will keep your gear close at hand, and the fifth pocket on the right thigh is perfect for a knife or cell phone.
- Nylon reinforced cuffs
- Articulated knees for maximum mobility and range of motion
- Double front design for maximum durability
- DWR Treated for water repellency
- Generous fit and straight leg opening
- 5 Pocket design with cell phone/knife pocket on right side leg
the pants were lite weight and cool during the hunt this as it was 73 degrees in nov/dec in KS this year. I like them alot. Homer
I have been wearing Filson waxed pants for the past couple years while pheasant hunting in SW Nebraska. I was unsure how these pants would hold up but surprisingly they did well. They are not waxed but seem to bead water off. I wore suspenders to hold the pants up and off my waist. My only complaint would be they were not as flexible in the knee as I expected, walking through brush I felt the need to pull them up over my knee to make walking easier. The fit was a little snug on the pant inseam too.
I received the pants a day before I left on a hunting trip of 30 days l wore them about every day and they still new, great pants
I have been waiting for pants just like these for a while. Phenomenal feel and comfortability for all day sits and walks. I thought the pants were relatively quiet even when it was colder out. The only negative thing was they are more of a slimmer feel in the thighs. My body type is more athletic so I have larger than normal legs so I normally wear a 34" waist and 32" inseam but had to exchange for a 36" waist to get more room in the thighs.
They helped me get in and out of pesky mid-east coast briars all through white tail season. They are very quiet, moderately stiff but they don’t feel particularly thick. Think light-weight Carhartt pants.
They don’t offer a ton of warmth, but they breathe well in warm temps - breeze gets through relatively well. The color has stood up to a few washes at this point.
The fit is comfortable. I generally have large legs but my muscles have atrophied a bit over the past year. If I were in better shape, they would be a bit snug in the thigh for those with athletic thighs. This is important because there is minimal stretch.
I identify with the reviewer who said they have a tendency to slide down but mine stay up with a belt just fine.
As far as brush pants they saved my legs hands down on a south Texas nalgi hunt. I wouldn’t want to go through that country with out them. My only complaint and I emailed the company about this is they don’t stay up when you start walking around. You almost need suspenders, I suggested some rubber thread sown in the waist band, now it may be the fabric because on the hunt we had a couple other brands and it was a common complaint around the campfire.
I have plenty of there stuff and am very very happy with all the gear I have so far great customer service. And a LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!!
