This battery is for the Heated Core Vest and the Heated Core Pant. It is not compatible with the Heated Core Hand Warmer.
Item weight: 3.04 oz
I am pleased with the effectiveness of the battery. But disappointed that Pnuma does not offer a multi-bank charger for the battery(s). In addition to not being able to charge the battery in the field with a battery bank.
It's a battery, and it works with my vest and pants. Holds a charge for advertised times.
The vest is of nice quality, works well. Note you will most likely need an extra battery. Well worth the money.
The ICONYX heated core vest is an excellent piece to have in your gear wardrobe. In S. Central PA deer rifle season can be very cold and this vest can make all the difference between being comfortable and having the freezing shakes. I strongly suggest getting an additional battery. If you run it on the highest setting, you will only get a couple hours of comfort and a second battery is the answer. Normally you can run at #1 setting and that will give you much more time but if really cold, the third setting is the answer. So get that second battery, you'll be happy you did.
Although the 2 hours on HI is ok'ish and there is a pocket for a spare battery, there is no good way to change the drained battery to a fresh battery. Both batteries need to be plugged in simultaneously. Same with the charger. I wish to charge both batteries simultaneously. I also inquired about whether the batteries can be charged via the USB port. Waiting to hear back.
they are very convenient to carry I carry an extra for my vest and one for the pants
